Brilliant Theatre Arts, Hemel Hempstead

Brilliant Theatre Arts is a production company based at Apsley Mills cottage, London Road, Hemel Hempstead in the UK. It is an award-winning theatre that has been providing production and performance opportunities to many youths between the ages of 7-21. It has gone ahead to produce forty live performances, Casting over 3,000 young performers and its shows have been perfomed in front of nearly 20,000 audience members. It has also had five-star reviews every time it stages a performance.

The theatre takes pride in producing mega shows including The Adams Family, Legally Blonde, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, Beauty and the Beast, Disney’s Alladin Jr.,A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Wind in the Willows, Bugsy Malone, Chatroom and Grease which are all acted in high profile theatres all around the UK. This is also a clear indicator that they have had so many professional individuals on these sets and by this one can tell that their level of professionalism is of a high standard too. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Brilliant Theatre Arts has however, closed its doors but has continued to work online.

The youth theatre has currently been working on a series of virtual projects and productions. Alongside this, the theatre is also providing regular online workshops, quizzes, watch parties, Q&A’s, play-readings, wellbeing programmes and many more interactive experiences for the youths with an interest in the arts industry.

The virtual experiences go further to including spending time chatting with different icons from the world of musicals, Theatre, TV, Casting, Lighting & Set Design, and thus getting first-hand knowledge of any sector that one would wish to know about. The Q&A sessions also go ahead to include Top Casting directors like Jo Hawes, Top Agent Jo McLintock from A&J Artists, Game of Thrones Actor Joe Dempsie and even Andrew Exter who is an award-winning set, video and lighting designer. This assures of a high level of learning and gaining of both skills and exposure.
